Prof. Bart Blanpain (Academic supervisor ESR3, Supervisor secondments ESR3, 10% FTE) is a metallurgist and materials scientist, specialised in developing sustainable high-temperature metals processes. He has been the supervisor of over 27 completed PhDs, and is currently supervising 15 PhDs of which 3 involved in MC-ITNs.
