PyroFlex is an EIT RawMaterials funded project, which offers a network of pyrometallurgical infrastructure and expertise for residue treatment. It unites partners with world-class expertise and unique infrastructure in high-temperature metallurgy, which can deal with various types of complex low-grade industrial residues thus allowing the recovery of valuable elements present in the residue in parallel with production of clean slag for subsequent valorisation.

The PyroFlex network provides easy access to an extensive range of pyro-metallurgical (and related) equipment and expertise complemented with thermodynamic calculations and process models thus offering a one-stop-shop service to clients. The web-based service platform is now fully functional and integrated within PyroFlex’s website. For more detailed information on our services and for submitting a request please visit the website: https://pyroflex-eit.eu/

ZeroWaste Cluster

PyroFlex, which is coordinated by (SIM²) KU Leuven, is embedded in the broader ZeroWaste Cluster, which also includes networks of infrastructure (NoI’s) on, amongst others, solvometallurgy, biometallurgy and residue valorisation.
