Prof. Wim Dehaen is the supervisor ESR8, and the supervisor of the secondments of ESR2 and 5. He is a specialist in synthetic methodology for heterocyclic compounds, using multicomponent strategies, including the design and synthesis of ionic liquids. He has authored over 450 papers.
